emily;

I hate boys. No, really, I have a passionate and disdainful dislike for them.

And to think I have to be the better person and hold my tongue. The one time I finally want to unleash my rage, I can't. This is effing hopeless.

Jam, come back from the Goldcoast soon.

Formal season and love for friends

emily;

I just signed up for Facebook. About time. haha and I am a COMPLETE NOOB *N*. Seriously, I got no idea what I'm doing. I'm just randomnly clicking stuff and .. nothing's turning out the way it's supposed to be? Anyways, yes. Add me on Facebook. My profile is under my full name by the way - i.e. Emily Lan Anh Nguyen. Ew, my name is so ugly lol.

Two fantastic formals in the span of 4 days! I think I am rather addicted to dancing, being crazy with Jimmy, talking about "benefits" and such with Jam (LOL) and yes ... dancing. :) I love my friends!

Yeah, I know, I sound pretty pathetic.

Ew, paintball makes my skin sticky and gritty.

Post #329

emily;

Right now, I'm at home in my room while Jimmy, Ben, Tim and David are outside. It's another babysitting night, while the rents are out at some family friend function. Ben is such a smart arse now, unbelievable. And Jimmy, I don't think you know how much I appreciate your friendship and your capacity to always listen to my stupid crisis while letting me pig out on a Gaytime.

Anyways! Yes, I am back from the very much anticipated "schoolies" trip. :) To answer all the typical questions, no I did not have sex; no, I did not get completely smashed off my face (although John did) and no again, I did not have sex. haha, it was a lovely 5 days of being completely lazy on a beach and only having a bottle of alcohol every few hours. I guess I'll just list down the significants:
  • I watched the sun rise. Twice.
  • Scott and I found this magical lookout and took trippy photos while being a couple of teenage idiots on the mountain top.
  • I played Mario Kart till my fingers hurt.
  • I became Kelvin's protoge and to put it mildly, kicked ass in tekken using Asuka.
  • I swam in the sea. Twice. And on the fourth day, got my rags.
  • While looking at the stars on the first night, my toes in the sand; Kelvin and Daisy by my side, I sorted out some of my mixed up "feelings".
  • I saw a shooting star. Twice.
  • I saw the soft side of John, the very woman-like-dishwashing-side of Nick, and had a dmn with Ben.
  • I did the most cleaning up I have ever done in my entire life.
  • I learnt how to peel an avocado so you get the most minimum amount of delicious mush between your fingers as possible.
  • And, I missed you. A lot.
Wow, that was longer than expected. Usually I don't think of all the things I want to write down in more than one go. Anyways, sorry again to Kan for missing your birthday. I can feel the awesome atmosphere just by looking through some of the photos.

I miss basketball.

Like the new layout guys? :) It took me 30mins! God, my html is so bad. Cheers to the creator of the skin. I think you're going to be Jimmi's new hero.
Big news - THE H ESS SEEE IS OVERRRRR!
I can't believe it. A few nights ago I was on the phone with Jam, and we were completely complaining -
"I want it to be over, Em"
"Yeah me too"
*simulataneous sighs* haha
And it finally is over. FINSIHED, OUT THE WINDOW and never to be seen/heard of again (besides when the results come out in December of course).

So yes, I decided to celebrate, and hence the new layout. Maybe I'll post up some random photos just for fun. xx

emily;

haha! My family is so technology-deficient.

Recently, Aunty Giang came back from Hong Kong with a gift for me - a brand new, expensive, and pretty little iphone. I can't tell you how pretty it was for a piece of wired electricity but I guess the word for it would be "wow". Anyways, I didn't have the nerve to actually use it. It was too nice! Then one day, I come home from the library to find out that while dad tried to "update it" he accidentally locked the phone. haha! GREAT WORK, DAD.

Anyways, thank goodness to Scott. I owe that boy something nice. Although mum and dad did give him the gold class tickets that we never used. We ended up finding someone to buy it after a day. Scott should go into marketing. That ad did wonders. So yep, bye bye iphone ... hello $600. I'm giving it back to my aunty, of course :)

WOOH 2 MORE DAYS. I can't bloody wait!

Hmmm .. what's a good highschool stereotype to dress up as? The furthest my imagination goes in this area is either a cheerleader or goth. LOL

jimmi;

As these examinations are coming to an end, many of us are feeling that something is missing.
Like a piece of you has suddenly disappeared and all that is left is a void of emptiness.
Some think that it is because we are ending a chapter of our lives, others say that its the realization that we may never see the faces we are accustomed to seeing everyday at school.
I believe we are searching for purpose.
We are now free, free to escape the reason's for dreaming. Free to find our destiny, our purpose as we all know without purpose we would not exist.
It is purpose:

that created us,
that connects us,
that pulls us,
that guides us,
that drives us,
It is purpose that defines us,
and it is purpose that binds us.

However this is where the conundrum lays.
We must chose the path we take, and therein lies the ultimate anomaly.
Choice, the problem is choice.
We cannot get past the choices that we don't understand, like the regretful ones and the embarrasing ones, but what if choice is just and illusion and that we really don't have control over our lives?
I think its time for me to take that leap of faith.
Follow your dreams people, no matter where it leads you.
Because only then you will find your true purpose in life.

<3 later days
