MELBOURNE

leslie; (yes funny how I'm not using my own blog ... neglected poor little thing)

So melbourne, how has melbourne been? As Jimmiboy would put it, Melbourne has been ... EPIC!
I'm not going to go about recounting everything, but I just want to mention how refreshing Melbourne has been. For one thing, Melbourne is definitely a lot more cultural and, though now becoming quite a cliche, Melbourneans are generally a lot more laid back.

The past few days have been spent staring into the distance and contemplating moving to Melbourne after I complete my uni degree. Maybe for a year or two? Then move to Newtown?! LOL

For sure!!!!!!!!!!

Emily is currently sitting beside me becoming a fat pig, yes that's right, eating a whole box of sweets by herself. You should've seen her today - WOW! Can she eat?!

Yeah, anywhos, she's going to work it off now, by typing on a keyboard. =)
SEE YOU SOON!

emily;

First of all, I'd like to mention that Leslie is a parasite. Albeit, a lovable parasite.

And yes to state the obvious, today is our third day in Melbourne. I hate to say it, but it's a pretty nifty little city. For one thing, City Rail DOESNT exist. Basically this means traffic pretty much just flows and there's not as much road rage. Secondly, the layout of every single retail shop is flawless in both design and maintenance. Unfortunately, neither Leslie nor I have purchased anything besides food, alcohol, tram tickets and taxi services.

What's my favourite spot so far? This gorgeous alleyway near Collins St known as Centre Place. Its got this sweet graffiti and this awesome soup kitchen.
Potato leek and bacon soup ... mmmmmm ...

Funny that Jimmy mentioned obesity in his previous post, since I have joined this group individuals. How Jimmy will deal with one of his cousins being "one of them" - we'll just have to see.

Until my next post, over out.
x

(I miss my boyfriend and his stupid headlights)
