Leslie told me to blog. He was very wrong to make me feel guilty for neglecting this corner of cyberspace, since I absolutely have nothing interesting to fill it with!

Want to know about my New Years Eve? It was pretty full on. Especially the fact that I spent my first hours of the year 2008 in the front seat of an ambulance! Lan accidentally kicked a broken bottle on the floor about two minutes before the fireworks started, so of course, she got cut and oozing out tomato sauce all over circular quay. haha, I panicked. I ran to the nearest security guard I could find. My pathetic screams for help probably sounded something along the lines of, Sir! Please help! My friend's cut her toe and she's bleeding! The security guard looked calmly at me, and in an almost mocking tone, told me that the First Aid tents were right behind me.

So yes, I accompanied Lan to Sydney Hospital (you know, the one right next to State Library) where she bravely endured some stitches and a tetanus needle. While I was in the waiting room filling out Lan's "next of kin" section on her hospital form, a guy next to me started conversation. His name was Steve, and he had some pretty massive looking bandages on his head and his hand. Why? Because he was very drunk and had decided to jump into Darling Harbour. Why? No idea. He was from Munich, though.

Today was nice. Just relaxing with beautiful people (Daisy, Davo, BenT, Shoeheng, Pawl, Hyok, Livia, Linda, Ada, Michael, JohnK, Azzi, Zhang and Sha, to be exact) on a veranda in the sun. Oh, and there was some major Super Smash duelling happening as well.

I'm so happy it's a new year.

A clean start, as last year dissolves.

Milady smiled, and d'Artagnan felt that he would go to hell and back for that smile.

I finally have new photos.
